On this tour through the art galleries of Guadalajara, we'll discover the art world of the city with the guidance of an art historian and consultant.

Tour Highlights

At the designated time, we will meet at Cup Cafe, a café owned by a local painter who also uses it as his studio. You can enjoy a coffee or herbal tea while interacting with the artist.

We will explore 3 galleries and 3 art studios, with visits depending on the artists' availability and ongoing exhibitions.

After the first 2 galleries, we will take a short break where you can enjoy 2 drinks.

We typically visit the following places:

Sepia Gallery: established in 2022, featuring exhibitions by local artists, with an opportunity to meet a sculptor.Tenango Cafe: displays prints and paintings by local artists.La Bodega: a studio home to a ceramicist and a painter, sharing their creative processes.Taller Casa Gato: a studio where two painters create in various styles.Unnamed Studio: where two ambitious young artists work across different media.No Somos Nada: features an art gallery and studio spaces for several local artists.La Extension: a group studio that opened in September 2023, showcasing constantly changing works.

After 3.5 hours of visiting galleries and studios, the tour will conclude.
