On this tour through the art galleries of Guadalajara, we'll explore the city's art scene with an art historian and art consultant.

Tour Highlights

We will meet at Cup Cafe, a café that doubles as the studio of a local painter. Enjoy a coffee or herbal tea while engaging with the artist, setting the tone for our tour.

The tour includes visits to 3 galleries and 3 art studios, subject to the availability of artists and exhibitions. After the first two galleries, we will have a short break to recharge with 2 drinks.

Typical locations we visit include:

Sepia Gallery: offers changing exhibitions with local artists and the opportunity to meet a young sculptor.Tenango Cafe: hosts exhibitions of local prints and paintings.La Bodega: features a ceramicist and a prominent painter sharing their creative processes.Taller Casa Gato: two painters share their diverse styles and processes.Unnamed Studio: home to ambitious young artists working across several mediums.No Somos Nada: has an art gallery and studio spaces for seven dynamic local artists.La Extension: a studio with a rotating roster of artists and works, where special events may occur during our visit.

The tour lasts for 3.5 hours, concluding our exploration of Guadalajara's galleries and studios.
