Horse Riding in Tequila & Distillery Visit with Tasting

Between 8:30 and 8:45 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Guadalajara and transport you to Amatitán through extensive agave fields. This plant is essential for producing sweeteners and spirits like tequila and mezcal.

In Amatitán, we'll begin with a tequila tasting on a terrace overlooking the agave plantations, where the guide will explain the best way to drink tequila.

After tasting, we will ride horses to admire the agave canyons and the Poblado area, heading toward Tequila. We will stop at La Cofradía distillery to learn about the tequila-making process and to enjoy a second tasting of tequila, agave liqueur, and jima.

Upon arrival in Tequila, we will explore the town, designated as one of Mexico's Magical Towns. You will have time to independently visit, have lunch, or shop. We will reconvene to return horseback to the starting point and then by bus to Guadalajara, with an expected arrival at your hotel five to six hours after pickup.
