On this tour from Guadalajara, we'll enjoy a horseback ride through Tequila and visit a distillery, including agave plantations and a tequila tasting.

Horse Riding in Tequila & Distillery Visit with Tasting

Between 8:30 and 8:45 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Guadalajara and take you to the town of Amatitán through its extensive agave fields. This plant is used for sweeteners and spirits such as tequila or mezcal.

In Amatitán, we'll have our first tequila tasting on a terrace overlooking the agave plantations, where the guide will explain the best way to drink tequila.

After the tasting, horses will be ready for riding. We'll admire the landscapes of agave canyons and part of the Poblado before heading toward Tequila. We'll stop at La Cofradía distillery to learn about the tequila-making process and have a second tasting of tequila, agave liqueur, and jima.

Once we arrive in Tequila, we'll tour the center of one of Mexico's Magical Towns, allowing time for independent exploration, lunch, or shopping.

Finally, we'll return on horseback to the starting point and then by bus to Guadalajara, with arrival at your hotel scheduled five to six hours after pickup.
