On this excursion to Tonalá and Tlaquepaque, you'll enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of two beautiful colonial towns in Jalisco and explore their handicraft markets.

Tour of Tonalá and Tlaquepaque

After picking you up in Guadalajara at the designated time, we'll proceed to the nearby town of Tonalá. Here, you'll learn about the history of this small town and see its main monuments, such as the Parish of Santiago Apostol? and the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Tonalá is recognized as a famous artisan center.

During the tour, you'll admire handcrafted works made from blown glass, ceramics, and iron as we walk by its old colonial mansions. We will visit the street market of Tonalá, attracting visitors from the region seeking handicrafts.

Next, we'll drive to Tlaquepaque, known for its colonial architecture and wood and leather handicrafts. As we explore the cobblestone streets and browse the craft stalls, you'll learn about this municipality established in 1530.

We'll pass by several workshops where artisans create their products, followed by free time to explore Tlaquepaque at your leisure and lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we'll return to Guadalajara, with drop-off at your hotel occurring 6 to 7 hours after pickup.
