Tour of Tonalá and Tlaquepaque
After pickup in Guadalajara, we will travel to Tonalá. Learn about the history of this town and see its main monuments, including the Parish of Santiago Apostol? and the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Tonalá is a renowned artisan center.
During the tour, admire works made with blown glass, ceramics, and iron as we pass by old colonial mansions. Visit the street market of Tonalá, attracting visitors seeking handicrafts.
Next, we will head to Tlaquepaque, known for its colonial architecture and wood and leather handicrafts. Stroll through the cobblestone streets and browse the craft stalls while learning about the town, founded in 1530.
We will observe artisans in their workshops and learn about their crafts. You will have free time in Tlaquepaque to explore at your leisure and dine at local restaurants. Following lunch, we will return to Guadalajara, dropping you off at your hotel 6 to 7 hours after pickup.
