Camino Real Hike

If you want to spend a day in touch with nature, our Camino Real Hike is the perfect activity for you. We'll set off from Guaduas and learn all about local stories and legends while exploring the green scenery of Cundinamarca.

Camino Real Hike

At your chosen time, we'll meet on Calle 4 and start our hiking route along the Camino Real de Guaduas.

We will drive for 30 minutes to the legendary Guaduas Way. Upon arrival, we'll begin our trek along this 422-year-old road.

During the hike, we will discuss how the Camino Real was constructed during the colonial period and the municipalities it connects. This path is the most well-preserved of its kind in Colombia, recognized for its historic significance.

Throughout our 2.5-mile (4-kilometre) route, we will follow in the footsteps of historical figures and learn about their traditions and legends.

The hike will conclude at the Capira Viewpoint where you can enjoy views of Cundinamarca's greenery through a telescope. Don't forget your camera!

After 3 hours of exploration, we will return to the meeting point to conclude the tour.
