Guaduas Ceramic Workshop

At a time of your choice, we will meet at Calle 4 in Guaduas and board a minibus to the pottery workshop. Here, you will learn how to handle clay.

We will meet the master potter, who has been practicing this traditional art for 40 years. They will guide us in identifying the different types of clay and classifying them according to the piece to be made.

We will create a ceramic hen, a handicraft symbol of Guaduas, along with a story about its recognition in the region of Cundinamarca.

We will mould the clay into our farm animal. Once finished, we will bake it in the workshop's wood-fired oven. The piece will then be ready to take home.

After two hours of activity, we will conclude the pottery workshop and return to the starting point.
