On this tour of Porto Alegre, we'll explore the main historical and cultural attractions of the city in one day and enjoy a magical sunset at Cais Embarcadero.

Best of Porto Alegre Tour

Starting with a pickup at your hotel in Porto Alegre at 9:30 am, we will discover the city's charms through walking tours and minibus routes. Our first stop will be the Moinhos de Vento neighborhood, home to Dmae Park, noted for its gardens inspired by the Palace of Versailles.

Next, we will explore Cidade Baixa, known for its bars and bohemian atmosphere, then proceed to Farroupilha Park (also known as Parque da Redenção), a favorite spot for locals to gather and drink mate.

After an hour and a half reserved for lunch, we will continue to the historic center of Porto Alegre. Highlights include the public market, the municipal library, Plaza Alfândega, Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana, and São Pedro Theatre. We will also admire the exteriors of the Cathedral and Palacio Piratini.

The tour concludes at Cais Embarcadero, where we will enjoy an unforgettable sunset. We will return to your hotel by 7 pm.
