After picking you up from your hotel in Guanajuato at the scheduled time, we'll drive to the Cerro del Cubilete, a mountain in the heart of Mexico. At this viewpoint, we will visit the sanctuary built at the foot of the statue of Christ the King, or Cristo Rey.

Inside the sanctuary, we will admire various works of art before viewing the Cristo Rey monument, a large sculpture of Jesus Christ on a sphere symbolizing the universe. During the tour, we will explain the symbolism of the offerings given by the angels at his feet and discuss the damage the monument sustained during the Mexican Revolution. We will also enjoy the views of El Bajio de Guanajuato from 2,600 meters above sea level.

Before concluding, we will tour the natural area to visit handicraft stalls and taste local snacks if desired. The tour lasts 3 hours, and we will drop you off back in Guanajuato.
