The tour begins with a hotel pickup at the scheduled time, leading to a hill walking experience through the forests of Guanajuato. The chosen route will vary by season, with options including La Bufa Hill, known for its diverse flora. Participants will experience the peace of the forest, away from city life.

If the Sierra de Santa Rosa is the selected area, hikers will explore trails and possibly spot chuïnes, small blue birds resembling sparrows. The region features holm oak tree forests and offers insights into the area's mining history and transportation routes.

Hikers will learn to identify various trees like willows, capulines, wild olives, ash trees, mesquites, colorines, and palo blancos. Additionally, information will be provided about how water is sourced from the Guanajuato, Chapín, and Trinidad rivers for the reservoir.

The tour concludes back at the hotels after a total of 3 hours of hiking.
