At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your hotel to start the hill walking tour through the forests of Guanajuato. You will experience the unique natural beauty of inland Mexico.

Depending on the season, we will hike in one of the three areas near Guanajuato. Possible locations include La Bufa Hill, known for its diverse flora and peaceful forest atmosphere, providing an escape from city life.

In the Sierra de Santa Rosa, you will explore trails frequented by chuïnes and view the holm oak forests. The tour includes information about the local mining history and the transportation routes previously utilized.

Participants will learn about various trees such as willow trees, capulines, wild olive trees, ash trees, mesquites, colorines, and palo blancos. Additionally, we will discuss the water supply to the reservoir from the Guanajuato, Chapín, and Trinidad rivers.

This tour concludes at your hotel after 3 hours of hiking.
