Enjoy traditional Mexican music on this private tour with the Tuna de Guanajuato, a local university group of musicians. The tour will take place in the historic center of the city while we dance to the characteristic rhythms of this student group.

Description

At the indicated time, we will meet next to the Teatro Juárez to begin this enjoyable private tour with the Tuna de Guanajuato. A tuna is a group of university students who play traditional music. During the tour, we will stroll through the main streets and squares of the city, enjoying live music. We will discover the origins of the Tuna de Guanajuato and listen to many typical songs usually performed by this group, including Spanish songs with a romantic air and traditional Mexican folklore.

In addition to the tunos’ voices, we will enjoy the melodies from various instruments, such as guitars, bandurrias, accordions, and tambourines. You will be invited to dance to the music in the plazoleta squares of Guanajuato, an opportunity to embrace the rhythm of the traditional songs. After an hour and 15 minutes, we will conclude the tour near the Callejón del Beso.
