At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Guanajuato. We'll begin our tour at the Museum of the Mummies, where we'll check out more than 100 mummies and discuss their historical value and significance as a tourist attraction.

Afterward, we'll stroll through colonial streets to La Valenciana mine, where we'll descend through the corridors of the gallery to see the minerals extracted and the tools used by miners, highlighting Guanajuato's historical prominence in silver mining during the 18th century.

Back on the surface, we'll see the Cervantina roundabout and Plaza de las Ranas on our way to the church of San Cayetano to admire its Churrigueresque art and gold-laminated altarpieces.

Next, at the Museo de Galeras de la Santa Inquisición, we'll learn about darker historical aspects with ancient torture instruments used to punish heresies.

We'll taste typical sweets before exploring the tunnels and underground streets of Guanajuato. Then we'll head to the Pípila monument for a panoramic view of the city and history of this figure in Mexican independence.

After 4 to 5 hours of sightseeing, the tour will conclude in the city center.

At times, the Mummy Museum may be near capacity. If this happens, we may substitute this visit with a tour of the Museo ex Convento Dieguino, which also contains mummified bodies.
