Guanajuato Tour + Mummy Museum

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Guanajuato. We'll begin our tour at the Mummy Museum, where we'll check out more than 100 mummies and discuss their historical significance.

Afterwards, we'll stroll through narrow colonial streets to La Valenciana mine. We'll descend through the gallery to see the minerals extracted and the tools used by miners, highlighting that Guanajuato was one of the most productive silver mines in the world in the 18th century.

Back on the surface, we'll see the Cervantina roundabout and the Plaza de las Ranas on the way to the church of San Cayetano, featuring Churrigueresque art and gold-laminated altarpieces.

The next stop will be at the Museo de Galeras de la Santa Inquisición, where we'll learn about ancient torture instruments from a dark period in the city's history.

We'll then taste some typical sweets before continuing the tour to explore the tunnels and the underground street of Guanajuato.

Next, we'll head to the Pípila monument for a panoramic view of Guanajuato and learn about its historical significance in Mexican independence.

After 4 to 5 hours of sightseeing, the tour will conclude.
