Guanajuato Walking Tour

The tour begins at 10:30 am at the steps of the Collegiate Basilica of Nuestra Señora de Guanajuato. Participants will embark on a guided walking tour of this World Heritage City.

First, the group will admire the Juárez Theater and the Church of San Diego, which conceals a former 17th-century Franciscan convent. The next stop will be the Monumento a la Paz, commemorating the end of the War of Independence, followed by the University of Guanajuato and the Government Palace.

Participants will proceed to the Callejón del Beso to learn about the story of Don Carlos and Carmen. The journey continues to Plaza San Roque and the Alhóndiga de Granaditas.

The tour includes insights about the municipality while passing by the Museo Iconográfico del Quijote, the Museo del Pueblo, and the Museo Casa Diego Rivera, the birthplace of the renowned Mexican artist.

At 1:30 pm, the tour concludes at the last point.
