Guanajuato Walking Tour
At 10:30 am, we will meet at the steps of the Collegiate Basilica of Nuestra Señora de Guanajuato to start the guided walking tour of this World Heritage City.
We will first visit the Juárez Theater and see the façade of the Church of San Diego, which covers a former Franciscan convent from the 17th century.
Next, we will pass by the Monumento a la Paz and the main building of the University of Guanajuato, along with the old Government Palace.
Continuing, we will visit the Callejón del Beso to hear the story of Don Carlos and Carmen. Our route will then take us to Plaza San Roque and the historical building of Alhóndiga de Granaditas.
Additionally, we will pass by the Museo Iconográfico del Quijote, the Museo del Pueblo, and the Museo Casa Diego Rivera, the birthplace of the renowned artist.
The tour concludes at 1:30 pm.
