Description

At the indicated time we'll pick you up from your hotel in Guanajuato and head south towards La Purisima Dam. The drive will take about an hour.

Once we've reached our destination, we'll review safety rules and provide basic advice on paddling techniques. Then, we will start the kayaking activity.

We'll sail along La Purisima Dam, a well-known recreational area of Guanajuato. While enjoying the scenery, we will discuss the area's history.

The locality of El Zangarro was once here but was submerged due to the dam's construction in the 1950s. The temple of the Virgen de los Dolores from that time can still be seen, which we will approach by kayak.

After the tour, we'll return to the mainland, board the minibus, and drop you off at the Guanajuato Central Bus Terminal after 3 to 4 hours of activity.
