Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Guanajuato and head south towards La Purisima Dam. The drive will take about an hour.

Once we've reached our destination, we'll review safety rules and provide basic advice on kayaking. Afterward, we'll start the activity.

We'll sail along La Purisima Dam, a notable recreational area in Guanajuato. While enjoying the landscape, we'll discuss the history of the region.

The locality of El Zangarro was situated here, but its inhabitants relocated due to the construction of the dam in the 1950s. We will approach the temple of the Virgen de los Dolores from that period in our kayaks.

Upon returning to land, we will board the minibus and conclude the tour, dropping you off at the Guanajuato Central Bus Terminal after 3 to 4 hours of activity.
