On this wine tour through Guanajuato, we'll discover the winemaking tradition of this Mexican state and enjoy a select wine tasting.
Wine Tour of Guanajuato
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Guanajuato and drive to the Cuna de Tierra winery. The minibus ride will take about an hour. We will explore the fine wine of the Bajio region of Mexico.
The Cuna de Tierra winery spans over 30 hectares and currently produces 6 types of red wine and 1 white wine. Upon arrival, we'll take a guided tour of the winery facilities, designed by architects Ignacio Urquiza Seoane and Bernardo Quinzaños Oria.
We will then visit the Torre de Tierra viewpoint to appreciate the vineyards and olive trees from above. The visit continues in the production area and the underground cellar.
Lastly, we'll have a tasting of 3 wines guided by an expert sommelier, paired with regional cheeses, cold meats, bread, and honey.
After the tasting, we'll return to your hotel in Guanajuato, arriving 4.5 hours after the initial pickup.
