At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Luís de Camões Square to begin our journey to Belmonte. Ready?

After approximately 30 minutes, we'll arrive at our destination and begin to notice the medieval vibe of the streets of this Portuguese town, which was home to a large Jewish community. Our first stop will be the Centum Cellas Tower, which holds years of myths and legends of the town's origin.

Next, we'll visit the Museum of Discoveries, which features an interactive room explaining how modern Portugal came to be. After this, we will head to the Olive Oil Museum to learn about the importance of this product in the region.

We'll pass by Belmonte Castle before reaching the Zêzere Ecomuseum, which traces the history of the Zêzere River from source to mouth.

Lastly, we'll visit the Santiago Church and the Cabrais Pantheon, part of a National Monument. The blend of Gothic and Romanesque architecture will be noteworthy.

Finally, we'll conclude the tour after 3 to 4 hours together at the point where we began in Guarda.
