Description

At the scheduled time, we will convene at Praça Luís de Camões to begin our hiking adventure through the petroglyphs of the Coa Valley.

We will first proceed to the banks of the Côa River, where we will walk along trails leading to one of the largest open-air art galleries in the world, featuring over a thousand cave paintings.

This archaeological site has held the title of World Heritage Site since 1998. During the tour, participants will observe depictions of animals such as horses, bovids, and human figures, dating back to the Palaeolithic period.

We will conclude our tour back at the starting point, approximately 4-5 hours after we begin the activity.
