If you want a unique day out, this tour of the Sabugal swings is perfect! We'll visit the most beautiful viewpoints in the Sierra de la Estrella!
Description
At the scheduled time we'll meet at Luís de Camões Square to begin this tour of the Sabugal Swings.
Our first destination will be the Vila Maior Swing, which features the initials of the town. From here, we can admire the castle significant to Portugal's historical heritage.
Next, we'll proceed to the Seixo do Coa Swing for impressive views of the town and the Malcata swing.
Afterwards, we'll visit the Bendada Swing, designed in the form of musical notes to honor the 150 years of the Bendada Philharmonic Band.
The tour continues to the Penalobo Swing, shaped like a wolf's head with a heart in the middle, and then to the Aldeia Velha Swing, located at an altitude of around 900 metres (2952 feet).
Finally, we'll conclude our experience back at the starting point after approximately 3 to 4 hours.
