Sabugal Swings Tour

If you want a unique day out, this tour of the Sabugal swings is perfect! We'll visit the most beautiful viewpoints in the Sierra de la Estrella!

Description

At the scheduled time we'll meet at Luís de Camões Square to begin this tour of the Sabugal Swings.

Our first destination will be the Vila Maior Swing, whose structure forms the initials of the town. From here, we'll admire the castle that is an important part of Portugal's historical heritage.

We'll then proceed to the Seixo do Coa Swing, where impressive views of the town and the Malcata swing await. The landscapes of this mountainous region are noteworthy.

Afterwards, we'll head to the Bendada Swing, an original construction shaped like musical notes, created in tribute to the 150 years of the Bendada Philharmonic Band.

The tour will continue to the Penalobo Swing, shaped like a wolf's head with a heart in the middle, followed by the Aldeia Velha swing, built at an altitude of around 900 metres (2952 feet). Prepare for some beautiful views!

Finally, we'll conclude the tour at the starting point after approximately 3 to 4 hours together.
