Join us on this coffee tour in San Rafael, where you will explore the intricate process of creating a beloved beverage known for its rich aroma.

At the pre-arranged time, we will gather at Calle 32 in Guatapé and head towards a local coffee farm situated in the San Rafael region.

The journey will begin with a scenic 5-kilometre trail (3.1 miles) leading us to the farm. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a refreshing beverage to recharge before embarking on the guided tour of the estate. During this experience, you will delve into the various stages involved in producing bold Colombian coffee.

We will initiate our exploration at the coffee plantation, observing how the plants that yield the coffee beans are cultivated and nurtured. This segment will last approximately 20 minutes, allowing you to witness the coffee harvesting process and even try your hand at picking the beans.

Our next focus will be the processes of washing, drying, and roasting. Once the beans are expertly roasted, they will undergo threshing before being ground. The resulting coffee powder will be packaged, and you will also have the opportunity to use some of it to create a coffee-based beverage, which you can savor at the end of the tour. Experience the true intensity and rich flavor yourself!

To conclude, we will return along the path to reach the vehicle that will take us back to Guatapé. Expect to arrive approximately 4 hours after our initial meeting.
