At the scheduled time, transportation will be provided from your accommodation. Once aboard the bus, we will embark on a scenic two-hour drive towards the Chavón River.

Upon reaching this stunning location, we will board a boat for a relaxing cruise on the river. This 40-minute voyage allows us to soak in the breathtaking natural surroundings, with views of the enchanting village of Altos de Chavón visible in the distance.

Following the boat ride, we'll commence our exploration of Altos de Chavón. Strolling through the picturesque streets, we will visit the amphitheater in this beautifully reconstructed Mediterranean-style village. A highlight of our visit will be a stop at a cigar factory, where we will uncover the intricacies of the renowned Dominican tobacco.

Next, we will proceed to La Romana. Here, we will explore the local church and the bustling municipal market, and also enjoy time in two shopping centers: Columbus Plaza and Jumbo, allowing for ample shopping opportunities.

We will round off the day by returning to your hotel in Juan Dolio after six enriching hours of activities.
