La Romana & Altos de Chavón Tour

You will be picked up from your hotel at the specified time. A bus will transport you on a two-hour drive to the Chavón River.

Upon arrival, you will board a boat for a 40-minute tranquil cruise on the river, admiring the natural landscapes and the village of Altos de Chavón.

Following the boat trip, you can explore Altos de Chavón, walking its streets and visiting the amphitheater of this reconstructed village. You will also visit a cigar factory to learn about famous Dominican tobacco.

Next, you will proceed to La Romana, where you will see the church, the municipal market, and visit two shopping centers: Columbus Plaza and Jumbo, allowing time for shopping.

The excursion concludes with your return to the hotel in Juan Dolio, totaling 6 hours of activity.
