La Romana & Altos de Chavón Tour

At the specified time, pickup will be arranged from your hotel. A bus will then depart for approximately a two-hour drive to the Chavón River.

Upon arrival, guests will board a boat for a 40-minute cruise on the river, taking in the natural landscapes and the village of Altos de Chavón in the distance.

Following the boat trip, a guided exploration of Altos de Chavón will take place, including a walk through the streets and a visit to the amphitheater of this reconstructed village. Additionally, guests will visit a cigar factory to learn about Dominican tobacco production.

The tour will continue to La Romana, where sightseeing will include the church, the municipal market, and two shopping centers: Columbus Plaza and Jumbo, allowing time for shopping.

The excursion will conclude with return to your hotel in Juan Dolio after approximately 6 hours of activity.
