La Romana & Altos de Chavón Tour

At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel for a bus ride of approximately two hours to the Chavón River.

Upon arrival, we'll board a boat for a 40-minute cruise on the river, admiring the natural landscapes and viewing the village of Altos de Chavón from a distance.

Following the boat trip, we'll explore Altos de Chavón, walking through its streets and visiting the amphitheater of this reconstructed Mediterranean village. We will also visit a cigar factory to learn about the process of making Dominican tobacco.

Next, we'll proceed to La Romana to see the church, municipal market, and two shopping centers: Columbus Plaza and Jumbo, allowing time for shopping.

The excursion will conclude with the return to your hotel in Juan Dolio after approximately 6 hours of activity.
