Santo Domingo City Tour

Between 7 am and 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Juan Dolio to take you to Santo Domingo. We will visit the Tres Ojos National Park to explore its cave and freshwater lake. Our route continues to the Columbus Lighthouse and the exterior of the Presidential Palace. Following this, we will enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant with traditional dishes such as rice, meat stew, and beans.

After lunch, we will begin a guided tour of the colonial area of Santo Domingo, including the temple of Santa María de la Encarnación and the Catedral Primada de América. We will visit the Plaza de España and the Alcázar de Colón to learn about its history. We will also stroll down Las Damas Avenue and view the National Pantheon and the Church of the Jesuits.

We'll explore the lively Colonial area, visiting a typical handicraft store to learn about Larimar and Amber. You will have free time for shopping on Calle El Conde or enjoying a coffee. The tour concludes at the Malecón with views of the Caribbean Sea before returning to Juan Dolio around 5 pm.
