Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Juan Dolio at the specified time, after which you'll be transported to Santo Domingo. Are you prepared to delve into the heart of the Dominican capital?

The first stop will be Tres Ojos National Park, where you'll uncover the mysteries of its stunning cave and freshwater lake. What secrets might await us? We'll uncover them during our visit! Following this, we will pass the Columbus Lighthouse, believed to be the burial site of Christopher Columbus.

Next, we'll pause to admire the impressive façade of the Presidential Palace. You'll have the chance to take in the grandeur of this neoclassical monument before heading to a local eatery for a delightful buffet lunch featuring local specialties like rice, meat stew, and beans.

After refueling, we'll embark on a guided tour of the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo. Our first highlight will be the renowned Alcázar de Colón, once the residence of the admiral. We will also visit the Church of Santa María de la Encarnación, recognized as the first cathedral—or “Primatial Cathedral”—on the American continent.

Continuing our tour, we will explore Plaza de España and stroll along Calle de Las Damas, the first street established in the New World. As we walk, we’ll reach the National Pantheon, resting place of many distinguished figures in Dominican history. The striking façade of the 18th-century Jesuit church will also catch our eye.

Subsequently, we’ll wander through the vibrant pedestrian avenues of the Colonial area, home to art displays, various cafés, and local artisans. A visit to a crafts store will introduce you to Larimar and Amber, two cherished materials in the Dominican Republic. You will have some free time to shop along the bustling street of Calle El Conde or to relax with coffee in one of the nearby squares.

We will then gather again and head to the Malecón, the scenic beachfront promenade, concluding the tour with a breathtaking vista of the Caribbean Sea.

Ultimately, we’ll return to Juan Dolio, with plans to arrive around 10 hours following your pickup.
