Whale Watching in Samaná
The tour begins with a hotel pickup in Juan Dolio at 6 am, followed by a one hour bus ride to the port of Las Cañitas on the Samaná peninsula.
Upon arrival, we will board a boat to cruise the Bay of Samaná, an area known for its population of humpback whales. Participants should remain vigilant in hopes of witnessing these creatures in action.
After the whale watching cruise, we will visit Cayo Levantado, where a buffet lunch will be served at 12 noon. Post-lunch activities include enjoying the bay's clear waters and walking along its sandy beaches.
At 2:30 pm, we will depart from the island and return to Las Cañitas by boat. The bus ride back to Juan Dolio will conclude the tour by 6 pm.
