We will meet at 5:15 am at Avenida Presidente Isidro Ayora, conveniently located near Guayaquil airport. A minibus will transport us to the Cerro Blanco Protected Forest, just a 25-minute journey.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a guided walk through this expansive natural area, where you will learn about various tropical plant species. Identification of local timber trees, including guayacanes and peniches, will be a key focus of our exploration.

Historically known as the Howler Monkey trail, this path is ideal for birdwatching as it is home to over 240 registered bird species. The forest's conservation efforts are aimed not only at protecting its flora but also at safeguarding nine endangered bird species.

During your journey through Cerro Blanco, you may also spot other endemic Ecuadorian wildlife, such as iguanas, providing excellent photo opportunities.

After our explorative trek, we will return to the minibus and arrive back at the starting point around 12:15 pm.
