The Cerro Blanco Protected Forest is home to various native plants and wildlife. Discover its nature on this day trip from Guayaquil.

Cerro Blanco Forest Day Trip

At 5:15 am, we will meet at Avenida Presidente Isidro Ayora, near Guayaquil airport, and board a minibus to the Cerro Blanco Protected Forest, a 25-minute journey.

Once in the forest, we will walk through the area to learn about different tropical plant species and identify various timber trees used in furniture making, including guayacanes and peniches.

We will follow the Howler Monkey trail to observe numerous species of exotic birds, with over 240 registered varieties. The forest's protection is vital due to nine endangered bird species that inhabit the area.

During our walk through Cerro Blanco, you will also see other Ecuadorian animals like iguanas.

After the guided tour, we will return to the vehicle and drop you off at the starting point by approximately 12:15 pm.
