We will pick you up at Avenida Isidro Ayora Cueva at 3 am and start a four and a half hour minibus ride to the Chimborazo Volcano.

At 20,000 feet, Chimborazo is the highest peak in Ecuador and a stunning landscape. The snowy summit and rich wildlife make this one of the most visited natural attractions in the country.

Upon reaching the first refuge, we will begin the ascent to the Chimborazo crater. During the hike, you will observe llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas up close and experience the changing landscape as we gain altitude. We will reach the second refuge, where you can photograph the spectacular scenery.

After descending, we will visit the Colta lagoon, known for its picturesque Andean landscape, and discuss the indigenous gatherings on its shores. We will also visit the church of Balbanera, the oldest Catholic temple in Ecuador, which you can explore on foot.

After lunch, we will return to Guayaquil, with arrival at the hotels scheduled for 3 pm.
