We will pick you up at Avenida Isidro Ayora Cueva at 3 am and start a four and a half hour minibus ride to the Chimborazo Volcano.

Standing at 20,000 feet, the Chimborazo is the highest peak in Ecuador. The summit and wildlife in the area have made this location a popular attraction.

Once we reach the first refuge, we will begin the ascent to the Chimborazo crater. During the hike, you will see llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas. The landscape will change as we climb. We will reach the second refuge, where you can take photographs and enjoy the scenery.

After descending, we will visit the nearby Colta lagoon, which offers a picturesque Andean landscape. We will discuss the indigenous gatherings that occur there. Lastly, we will visit the church of Balbanera, the oldest Catholic temple in Ecuador, where you can walk around and explore.

After lunch, we will return to Guayaquil with arrival to the hotels scheduled at 3 pm.
