We will pick you up at Avenida Isidro Ayora Cueva at 3 am and begin a four and a half hour minibus ride to the Chimborazo Volcano.

Standing at 20,000 feet, Chimborazo is the highest peak in Ecuador and a major natural attraction. The snowy summit and surrounding wildlife enhance its appeal.

Upon reaching the first refuge, we will start the ascent to the Chimborazo crater. During the hike, you may see llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas. As we ascend, the landscape transitions to a more arid and snowy environment. At the second refuge, you will have time to photograph the stunning views.

After the descent, we will visit the nearby Colta lagoon, known for its Andean landscape and indigenous gatherings. The tour concludes with a visit to the church of Balbanera, the oldest Catholic temple in Ecuador.

After lunch, we will return to Guayaquil, with an estimated arrival at hotels around 3 pm.
