The first stop is Parque Seminario, also known as "Simón Bolívar Park" or "Iguana Park," where you can enjoy the garden and lake while learning about the exotic iguanas that inhabit the area. The Neo-Gothic Metropolitan Cathedral provides a contrasting backdrop.
You will stroll along Malecón 2000, the riverside boardwalk featuring key monuments, museums, gardens, piers, and viewpoints, making it a popular site in Guayaquil.
