After picking you up from your hotel in Guayaquil at the chosen time, we'll head to the historical centre of the city to enjoy a guided tour of the Municipal Museum.

In the Pre-Hispanic Room, we will observe a multitude of archaeological pieces that provide insight into the pre-Columbian history of this area. We will then proceed to the Colonial Room, which displays objects related to the Spanish conquerors from the fifteenth century, illustrating the transformations in New World history.

The tour will also include other significant areas such as the Religious Art Room and the Numismatic Room. A stop at the exhibition on yellow fever in Guayaquil will show the severe impacts of this disease. Finally, we will view fossils of various insects, birds, and mammals in the Natural History Pavilion of Ecuador.

Following 1.5 hours of the guided tour of the museum, we will return to the minibus and take you back to your hotel.
