Hacienda Cacao y Mango Chocolate Tour

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and travel to the Hacienda Cacao y Mango for a chocolate tour.

Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed with a welcome cocktail. The tour begins with a visit to the cocoa, rice, tropical fruit, vanilla, banana, and coffee plantations. We will learn about the local soil's richness.

After the plantations, we will make chocolate and taste cocoa juice and various derivatives of fresh cocoa. A visit to the conching and tempering workshop follows, where we will taste chocolates of different percentages and learn to make chocolate bars with dehydrated fruits (50 grams).

You can shop for a variety of products, including chocolate soaps, cocoa masks, hats, ground coffee, coffee beans, coffee jams, chilli jam, Jamaican flowers, leather handicrafts, and more.

We'll then enjoy a 3-course lunch featuring local ingredients, seasonal fruit desserts, and chocolate touches. After lunch, you'll return to your hotel, with an estimated arrival 6 hours after pickup.

Tour with pickup in Guayaquil: At 10 am, pickup at your hotel in Guayaquil.

Tour from Naranjal: At 10 or 11 am, you will need to reach the Hacienda Cacao y Mango.

Add a visit to a vanilla greenhouse

If selected, we will visit Cerro Chico Pereque to see one of the largest vanilla plantations. There, we will explore a vanilla greenhouse to learn about cultivation, harvesting, fermentation, and drying processes.
