Manglares Churute Reserve Day Trip
After picking you up from your hotel in Guayaquil at 8:30, we'll set off for the stunning Manglares Churute Ecological Reserve, just a 60-minute drive from the city.
Then it's on to the natural reserve itself! We'll begin with a tranquil boat ride around the mangrove forests, getting to know the different kinds of trees, flowers and plants native to the region, which are perfectly adapted to this tropical climate.
We'll also take in the largest estuary on the South American Pacific coast, and with a bit of luck, will be able to get up close and personal with the variety of birds that inhabit the wetlands, including herons, black cormorants and frigatebirds.
Finally, after the boat ride, we'll return to the bus and drop you back off at your hotel at approximately 4:30 pm.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You will be picked up from your hotel in Guayaquil at 8:30 AM. The journey to the Manglares Churute Ecological Reserve takes about 60 minutes. Once there, you will enjoy a boat ride through the mangrove forests, where you will learn about the native flora and fauna of the region. Expect to observe a variety of bird species in their natural habitat.
