Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Paço dos Duques de Bragança. A tuk tuk will be waiting to start the tour in Guimarães and learn about its history.
As we cross the Colina Sagrada towards Mumadona Diaz Square, we'll learn about the founding of Portugal and its first king.
Then, our tuk tuk route continues down Avenida Largo da República do Brasil to arrive at the Nossa Senhora da Consolação e Santos Passos Church. After visiting this temple, we'll spot the São Francisco Church and learn about its monastery and its connection with the Franciscan movement and Guimarães.
The tuk tuk will also take us to the historic centre of Guimarães, where we can enjoy medieval-style buildings and cross Santiago Square.
