Options

When booking this cruise around Haarlem, you can choose between two routes. Please note that there is no guide for either option. Both routes start at 11A Spaarne Dock.

Cruise down the canals (50 minutes)

This cruise will begin by sailing past the Teylers Museum, the oldest museum in the Netherlands, dating back to 1778. The route will continue north towards De Adriaan, the only windmill in the centre of Haarlem, and we will also pass by the Jopen Brewery, which is located in an old church. The cruise will include views of Sint Bavo Cathedral and the Frans Hals Museum, crossing beneath the Gravestenenbrug drawbridge before returning to the dock after 50 minutes.

Cruise down the canals and windmills (1.5 hours)

This option will also start by passing the Teylers Museum and De Adriaan windmill. We will then leave Haarlem's canals to explore the Spaarne River towards Heemstede. Along this route, we will admire traditional Dutch windmills. This journey lasts 1.5 hours and concludes at the initial meeting point.
