On this tour to Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee, we will follow in the footsteps of Jesus in the Holy Land. The tour is ideal for those whose cruise ships dock in Haifa.

Shore Excursion to Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee

We will meet at the Haifa cruise port and board a bus for an hour-long journey to Nazareth, enjoying the views of Israel's northern countryside.

Our first stop will be the Church of the Annunciation, where the archangel Gabriel is said to have informed Mary of Jesus' conception. Next, we will visit the church of St. Joseph, which features a grotto believed to be Joseph's carpenter workshop. Nearby is Mary's well.

We will then proceed to the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus is believed to have preached the Sermon on the Mount, offering views of the Sea of Galilee. Following this, we will visit the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish, commemorating one of Jesus' miracles.

Next, we will visit the biblical city of Capernaum, likely the home of Saint Peter. You will have an hour of free time for lunch before heading to Yardenit, where you may have the option to be baptized in the Jordan River if time permits.

The tour lasts approximately nine hours, concluding with drop-off back at the cruise port.
