Embark on the Halifax and Peggy's Cove Tour, where you will explore the quintessential landmarks of Nova Scotia's capital and stand before one of Canada’s most photographed lighthouses.
Description
At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Halifax to begin our journey through the capital of Nova Scotia, highlighting its most notable attractions.
Our first destination will be the charming fishing village of Peggy's Cove, located less than an hour from Halifax. During the drive, you'll learn fascinating stories, including the incident of a plane crash in 1998.
Upon arrival in Peggy's Cove, you'll have the opportunity to capture stunning images with the town's iconic lighthouse as your backdrop—widely regarded as one of Canada’s most picturesque. You'll also enjoy leisure time to wander through the quaint coastal town. We suggest exploring the charming shops and taking a moment to relax on the benches along the boardwalk, soaking in the views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Following our Peggy's Cove visit, we will return to Halifax to explore Citadel Hill, where you'll dive into its military heritage and watch a re-enactment featuring the Highlanders, Scottish settlers adorned in 19th-century attire.
After learning about Citadel Hill, our vehicle tour will continue through downtown Halifax. You will pass various notable sites, including the Titanic Cemetery, City Gardens, Pier 21, Halifax Farmers Market, and Point Pleasant Park.
After a comprehensive 4-hour experience, we will conclude our tour and return you to the original pickup location.
