Peggy's Cove Day Trip

Do you want to discover the most famous lighthouse in Canada? On this day trip to Peggy's Cove, we'll visit a picturesque coastal area in Nova Scotia, in the far east of the country.

At the time indicated, we'll meet at 1675 Lower Water Street in Halifax and from here we'll head south.

After a drive of about an hour, we'll arrive in Peggy's Cove, one of the most noted coastal areas in Nova Scotia. Once here, we'll walk to the lighthouse, the most photographed on the Eastern Canadian Coast.

The lighthouse at Peggy's Cove attracts the most tourists among the 160 historical lighthouses in Nova Scotia. After learning about its popularity, we'll continue our tour with a walk around this small fishing village. We'll walk around its harbour and learn about the area's maritime traditions.

During the walk, we'll enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean from the Peggy's Point viewpoint. We'll also explore the town's main points of interest, including the William deGarthe Art Gallery.

To conclude our tour around Peggy's Cove, we'll return to Halifax, arriving at the meeting point around 3.5 hours after the initial pickup.
