Peggy's Cove Day Trip

Do you want to discover the most famous lighthouse in Canada? On this day trip to Peggy's Cove, we'll visit a picturesque coastal area in Nova Scotia.

At the time indicated, we'll meet at 1675 Lower Water Street in Halifax and from here we'll head south.

After a drive of about an hour, we'll arrive in Peggy's Cove. Once here, we'll walk to the lighthouse, the most photographed on the Eastern Canadian Coast.

Out of the 160 historical lighthouses in Nova Scotia, the one at Peggy's Cove attracts the most tourists. We will learn about the main reasons for its popularity and continue our tour with a walk around this small fishing village. We will explore its harbour and learn about the area's maritime traditions.

During the walk, we'll enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean from Peggy's Point viewpoint and explore the town's points of interest, including the William deGarthe Art Gallery.

To conclude our tour around Peggy's Cove, we'll return to Halifax, arriving at the meeting point approximately 3.5 hours after the initial pickup.
