Elbphilharmonie Guided Tour Itinerary

Meet the group outside the Elbphilharmonie for a one-hour guided tour of this landmark. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, explore the secrets of this edifice and its square, re-inaugurated in 2017, which stands on the site of an old warehouse used until 1900 for storing tobacco, tea, and cocoa beans. Discover why this location was selected for the Elbphilharmonie.

The building’s façade features wave-like elements and a glass top. Inside, access the central square by taking the largest escalator in Europe.

During the plaza tour, admire the contrast between the glass structure and its historic loading docks. Learn about the history of the building and its halls' ideal acoustics.

Before concluding the tour, visit the observation deck, located 37 meters high, for panoramic views of Hamburg. This terrace also hosts several restaurants offering appetizers and drinks (not included in the tour).
