Description

Day 1: Hammamet - El Djem - Matmata - Douz

The tour begins with a pick-up from your Hammamet hotel. Our first stop is El Djem, known for its Roman amphitheater, the Colosseum of Thysdrus. After exploring the amphitheater, we will proceed to Matmata, famous for its troglodyte houses carved by Amazigh families. Following lunch, we head into the Douz desert for a stroll among its sand dunes, with an optional camel ride available. We will conclude the day at our hotel in Douz for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Douz - Chott El Djerid - Tozeur

After breakfast at the Douz hotel, we will travel to Chott El Djerid, a salt lake offering intriguing optical illusions. Next, we visit Tozeur for lunch and embark on a guided tour of the Medina, observing its brick architecture, minaret, and the significance of palm trees. We will also explore the local market before returning to our hotel in Tozeur for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Tozeur - Kairouan - Hammamet

On the final day, we have breakfast at the Tozeur hotel and head to Kairouan, one of the oldest cities in Tunisia. We will visit the historic Sidi Sahbi Mosque and explore Kairouan's Medina, including the bustling souks. After lunch in Kairouan, we will return to your hotel in Hammamet around 6 pm.
