Day 1: El Djem – Matmata – Douz

Pickup will be at the designated time from your hotel in Hammamet. First, visit the El Djem amphitheater, the third-largest in the world, with a capacity of 30,000 spectators. Following this, explore the Matmata cave-houses in the Amazigh area with approximately one hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant (not included).

Next, enter the Douz desert, the gateway to the Sahara. Here, you can optionally try a quad bike or camel ride for an additional fee. After the desert activities, you will stay at a hotel in Douz for rest.

Day 2: Douz – Chott Djerid – Oasis - Kairouan

After breakfast (not included), visit Chott El Djerid, Tunisia's great salt lake, which stretches 250 kilometers (155 miles). Then, head to the mountain oasis of Chebika and Tamerza. The final stop is Kairouan, Islam's fourth holy city, where the Great Mosque is located, and a guide will explain its significance.

The tour will conclude with a return to your hotel in Hammamet.
