Tour Details

After being picked up from your hotel at the specified time, the guided tour will commence. Following the Legend of the White Snake, visit the Leifeng Pagoda on Sunset Hill, south of West Lake, spending an hour and a half exploring this eight-sided temple, originally built in 975 AD.

Next, proceed to the National China Silk Museum to learn about silk production in China over the last 5000 years and the significance of the Silk Road in Chinese history. Around midday, a break will be taken for lunch in a local restaurant (not included).

The tour continues to the former residence of Hu Xueyan, showcasing the lifestyle of the affluent during the Qing Dynasty, along with the Zhiyuan Garden, which features the largest man-made cave in China.

Following this, head to Qinghefang Street, the historic shopping street, spending an hour exploring its shops. Visitors can purchase typical snacks or visit the Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine to learn about traditional treatments.

After 8 hours, you will be returned to your hotel.
