Tuk Tuk Tour (4 hours)

After meeting at your hotel in Haputale, the journey to a famous tea plantation will begin. The history of tea in Sri Lanka spans over 200 years, and the tour will highlight its significance to the country. Enjoy the scenic lush landscape as you walk among the Lipton black tea plantations and observe leaf-picking. Participants can also pick tea leaves themselves. A snack break will be included before returning to your hotel.

Tuk Tuk Tour + Cooking Class (7 hours)

This option combines the tea plantation tour with a cooking experience. After the plantation visit, travel to a private house to learn how to prepare traditional dishes from Haputale. Participants will prepare a complete menu with local ingredients and will taste all prepared recipes.

Tuk Tuk Tour + Tea Factory Visit (7 hours)

This option includes a visit to a tea factory in addition to the Lipton plantations. Following the plantation tour, a 3-mile (5 km) walk will lead to the factory to learn about tea production. A further 3-mile (5 km) hike will return participants to enjoy a light picnic lunch before hotel drop-off.
