Bodegas Bilbaínas is not only one of the most emblematic wineries in La Rioja but also the oldest bottling company in the region. Founded by Santiago de Ugarte in 1901 and located in the famous Barrio de la Estación in Haro, this winery combines tradition, history, and a profound passion for wine.

"Raíces" Tour Itinerary

This enotouristic experience invites us to reflect on our past to understand our present. During this journey, visitors can walk through the halls of a century-old winery, uncovering its rich history, characterized by its connection to the land and a deep respect for time. Since 1901, each harvest, each barrel, and every corner of the winery reflects a heritage built with effort and foresight for the future.
Raíces is also a tribute to the land that gives us identity and character. We present four meticulously selected wines, paired with nearby local products, as a homage to the authenticity of our land and the people who cultivate it. Each glass tells its own story, and each bite reflects the surrounding landscape.

Final Tasting

The visit culminates with a wine tasting featuring carefully selected wines; it begins with fresh wines to awaken the senses, continues with the uniqueness of the oldest and most historic vineyard, Viña Pomal, and ends with wines representing the Rioja tradition and the living history of Bilbaínas. All paired with local Km 0 products, as a tribute to the land and those who work it, celebrating the genuine, the close, and what is ours.

• Schedule: Tours at 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM (subject to availability).
• Location: 40 minutes from Logroño and 35 minutes from Vitoria.

Important Rules:

• Minors under 18 must be accompanied.
• Children under 8 cannot join the guided tour (they can wait in the shop or garden with supervision).
• Arrive 15 minutes early. The tour starts punctually, and access is not allowed after a 10-minute grace period.
• Non-refundable reservation, but you can change the date with 48-hour notice (valid for 2 months).
• The winery reserves the right to modify the tour route for justified reasons.
