Tour Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Havana

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from Havana airport, transporting you to your accommodations for the night. The remainder of the day is yours to discover the essence of the vibrant Cuban capital at your own pace.

Day 2: From Havana to Cienfuegos

On the second day, we embark on our tour itinerary. Following a morning pick-up, we'll head towards Cienfuegos, taking in the scenic views of the Bay of Pigs along the way. As we travel, we will share insights about the historical significance of this site from the early 1960s and, time allowing, make a brief stop for a refreshing swim at the beach.

Upon our arrival in Cienfuegos, known for its Parisian-inspired colonial architecture, you will have free time to enjoy the charming atmosphere and wander through its elegant boulevards and plazas.

Day 3: Cienfuegos - Santa Clara - Camagüey

After breakfast, we will depart Cienfuegos for our next stop, with a detour to the village of Santa Clara. Here, we will visit the prominent statue of Ernesto Che Guevara and explore a museum dedicated to his legacy.

Subsequently, we will continue towards Camagüey, the third-largest city in Cuba, founded in the 17th century and historically intended to confuse pirates with its narrow, winding streets. Enjoy discovering this culturally rich city as you stroll through its parks and university district.

Day 4: Camagüey - Holguín

On the fourth day, after breakfast, we'll visit the ballet school in Camagüey to appreciate the significance of this folkloric art in the local culture.

Next, we will proceed to Holguín, a top tourist destination in Cuba. A guided walking tour will allow you to admire the main squares and monuments, showcasing the preserved elegance of 19th-century architecture. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the city further, including a chance to ascend Loma de la Cruz for breathtaking views.

Days 5 & 6: Baracoa

Leaving Holguín behind, we will make our way to Baracoa, the first Spanish settlement in Cuba. We'll spend the next two days immersed in this historically significant locale.

As the first landing point of Christopher Columbus in Cuba, Baracoa is described in his journals as extraordinarily beautiful, set against the backdrop of the Sierra del Purial. Here, you can hike through the stunning landscapes, relax on the beaches, and savor the local cuisine, especially the fresh seafood and artisanal chocolate!

Days 7 & 8: Santiago de Cuba

On the seventh day, we will depart Baracoa for Santiago de Cuba. The journey will offer spectacular views of mountains juxtaposed with the coastline, also passing by Guantanamo Bay, site of a notable military base.

This city is regarded as the cradle of the Cuban Revolution, renowned for its historical and cultural significance, particularly in music.\nDuring your time here, you will enjoy a noche santiaguera filled with vibrant music and dancing, allowing you to immerse yourself in the local rhythms and even participate yourself!

Day 9: Bayamo

Following our experience with traditional Cuban culture, we will venture into the life of the island’s villages by visiting Bayamo.

The charm of this small town, which thrived during the 17th and 18th centuries, presents a striking contrast to urban life. For those interested, a hiking expedition through Sierra Maestra is on offer, where one can visit Fidel Castro's historic hideout.

Days 10, 11, & 12: Trinidad

Next, we shall explore Trinidad, recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City of Humanity for its artistry and craftsmanship. The region surrounding Trinidad boasts breathtaking landscapes, including Valle de los Ingenios and Playa Ancón, where soft white sands await.

During these three days, you will have the freedom to engage in activities such as diving, snorkeling, horseback riding, and swimming in waterfalls. Trinidad also offers a lively nightlife, with numerous live music and dance events to enjoy each evening!

Days 13, 14, & 15: Havana

Our journey concludes with a return to Havana, where we will dedicate the final three days to an in-depth exploration of this remarkable city. A guided tour of the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site and among the oldest cities in the Americas, will include highlights such as the Capitol, Central Park, and the Palace of the Revolution.

As we wrap up our 15-day Cuban tour, time will be set aside for you to further enjoy the streets of Havana at your leisure or prepare for your departure. If your flight is scheduled on the last day, we suggest opts for a late afternoon or evening departure to fully enjoy your final moments in the capital.
