Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Havana at the scheduled time, leading us to Las Terrazas, a quaint town recognized as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Here, you will have the chance to visit a serene retreat that once hosted the renowned Cuban artist Polo Montañés.
Our journey will proceed to Cafetal Buenavista, where you will discover the intricate process of Cuban coffee production and gain insights into the historical context surrounding enslaved Africans who worked in the area. Throughout the trip, you'll be greeted by the breathtaking landscapes of the Sierra del Rosario.
The next stop is Viñales, beginning at the Los Jazmines Viewpoint. Here, admire the striking mogotes while surrounded by lush nature. This viewpoint is also home to the notable Hotel Horizontes Los Jazmines.
Continuing our exploration, we will visit the remarkable Mural of Prehistory, which rises to an impressive 393 feet (120 meters). It's the perfect moment to capture a photograph! Nearby, we will visit a local farmer’s house to enjoy a traditional Cuban meal.
Following our lunch featuring Criollan flavors, we will head to a tobacco farm, where you'll witness the process of handcrafting cigars. Are you ready for a taste test?
Our final destination is the Cueva de San Miguel, where you’ll uncover some of Viñales’ hidden treasures and reflect upon the rich history of the cimarrones.
After an enriching 10-12 hour experience, we will return you to your hotel in Havana to conclude this remarkable journey.
