During this visit to the National Capitol of Cuba in Havana, we will explore the interior of this iconic building.

Description

We will meet at the steps of the National Capitol of Cuba to begin our exploration of this symbol of the Cuban capital. The National Capitol is one of the most representative buildings in Cuba and features large doors welcoming visitors. Inside, we will visit the Hall of the Lost Steps.

As we navigate through the building, we will observe the intricate ornaments and impressive stained glass windows. We will also discuss the building's recent restoration and its significance as the center of political power in Cuba.

Our tour will include admiring The Republic, a bronze sculpture representing the Greek goddess Athena, which stands almost 18 meters tall and is the third tallest indoor statue globally.

We will then visit the Tomb of the Unknown Mambí, honoring a significant figure in the fight for Cuban independence. The tour will also cover the furniture decoration created by a prestigious London-based company.

After 3 hours together, we will conclude the tour back at the starting point.
