Regla Culture & Religion Tour
After being picked up from the Hotel Inglaterra, you'll travel to the Puerto de la Luz, where the Lanchita de Regla ferry will be waiting. Join locals for a 10-minute journey across the harbour to the town of Regla.
A two-minute walk from the dock will lead you to Nuestra Señora de Regla Church, dedicated to the Virgin of Regla, represented by a black Madonna, venerated in both the Catholic faith and the Yoruba religion known as Santería. Around the church, you may find several santera women offering palm readings and good luck rituals.
Next, we'll travel in a classic 1950s car to the Christ of Havana. From this hilltop location, you'll enjoy views of the bay.
Your tour of Regla will conclude with a return to your original departure point, lasting a total of 4.5 to 5.5 hours.
