Regla Culture & Religion Tour
After being picked up from the Hotel Inglaterra, you will be taken to Puerto de la Luz, where the Lanchita de Regla ferry awaits. Join locals for a 10-minute journey across the harbor to the town of Regla.
A two-minute walk from the dock leads you to the Nuestra Señora de Regla Church, dedicated to the Virgin of Regla. This church holds significance in both the Catholic faith and the Yoruba religion, known as Santería in Cuba. Many santera women in the vicinity offer palm readings and good luck rituals.
You will then travel in a classic 1950s car to the Christ of Havana. From this hilltop site, you will enjoy views of the bay.
Your tour of Regla will conclude with a return to your original departure point, lasting a total of 4.5 to 5.5 hours.
