Regla Culture & Religion Tour
After pickup from Hotel Inglaterra, you will be taken to Puerto de la Luz, where the Lanchita de Regla ferry awaits. Join locals for a 10-minute journey across the harbour to Regla.
Just a two-minute walk from the dock is the Nuestra Señora de Regla Church, dedicated to the Virgin of Regla, represented by a black Madonna. This church is significant in both the Catholic faith and the Yoruba religion, known as Santería in Cuba. Around the church, santera women are available to read palms and perform good luck rituals.
Next, you will travel in a classic 1950s car to the Christ of Havana for views of the bay from its hilltop location.
The tour concludes with a return to your original departure point after a duration of 4.5 to 5.5 hours.
