Valle de Viñales 2-Day Excursion

Day 1

We'll start this 2-day trip by picking you up at your accommodation in La Habana and making our way to Valle de Viñales, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. On the way, we'll pass various tobacco farms, known as the best producer of tobacco on the island. Once we arrive in Viñales, we'll visit a tobacco factory to learn about the cultivation process and the traditional practice of rolling Cuban cigars.

The next stop will be the Prehistoric Mural, one of the oldest open-air frescos in the world. To end our first day, we'll enjoy a meal of typical Cuban flavors with traditional music. Before concluding, we will enter the Cueva del Indio, exploring the river within the cave that leads to a grotto.

After this full day, we'll drop you off at your hotel for the night.

Day 2

On the second day, we'll have an early start with breakfast and a sunrise over Valle de Viñales. We'll then experience ziplining circuits, sliding down lines as long as 400 meters (1312 feet). Following this, we’ll enjoy horseback riding through the famous hills of Viñales and the Valle del Silencio.

After the adventure, we'll partake in more typical Cuban cuisine before heading back to La Habana, making a final stop at the Mirador de los Jazmines viewpoint. We expect to return to La Habana between 5 and 6 pm.

Lodging

The tour includes one night in a private home in Valle de Viñales.

Pickup

The excursion includes pickup from accommodations located in Playa and Vedado. If you're outside these areas, we'll arrange an alternative meeting point after booking. We can also pick you up from private houses with the address provided at booking.
