What is the Helsinki Card?

The Helsinki Card is a tourist card for access to key attractions in the city. You can choose between the Helsinki Card and the Helsinki Region Card, which includes areas like Espoo, Kauniainen, and Vantaa.

What is included in each card?

The Helsinki Card options provide different benefits:

Helsinki Card

Entry to major museums including Ateneum Art Museum (closed until 14 April 2023), Kiasma Contemporary Art, Temppeliaukio Church, Amos Rex, and Museum of Design.Helsinki sightseeing tour (available October to April) and canal cruises (available May to September).Unlimited public transport in zones AB, including streetcars, buses, subway, and airport ferry.Digital Guide for Helsinki.Discounts at selected shops and restaurants.

Helsinki Region Card

This card includes all benefits of the Helsinki Card, plus:

Public transport in Espoo, Kauniainen, and Vantaa (zones ABC).Train transport to and from Helsinki Airport.

How does it work?

The Helsinki Card starts its validity upon first use and lasts for 24, 48, or 72 hours, depending on your choice. For example, if you activate a 48-hour card on Tuesday at 11 am, it is valid until Thursday at 10:59 am. Access to attractions is one-time only, while children under 7 do not require a reservation.
