Tour Overview
Our adventure begins at the Aleksis Kivi statue, where we will gather to initiate our Christmas journey through Helsinki. Are you prepared to uncover Finnish holiday customs?
We will first head to the iconic Central Station of Helsinki, followed by a leisurely walk down the renowned Aleksanterinkatu street, where beautifully decorated shop windows and vibrant holiday lights set the mood in the city center.
The stroll proceeds through the tree-lined Esplanade Park towards the historic Old Market Square, where the enticing scents of seasonal dishes await. We will also visit the Allas Sea Pool complex featuring its traditional seaside sauna, alongside the magnificent Uspenski Cathedral.
A key moment of our tour will be a stop at the Christmas Market in Helsinki, where a plethora of stalls offer handcrafted items and sweet treats. Here, we will indulge in a warm cup of glögi, a spiced mulled wine, paired with delightful traditional Finnish cookies.
As our 2-hour exploration comes to an end, we will return to our original meeting point.
