Liesjarvi National Park Hike
Prepare for a day of adventure in Finland's countryside. Meeting is at 9 am on Mannerheiminaukio Street, then we will travel to Liesjärvi National Park, approximately an hour and a half away.
Upon arrival, we will begin our trek through the lush forests of this natural landscape, exploring the Finnish taiga and, possibly spotting local wildlife, including foxes, hares, and moose.
At the halfway mark, we will pause to light a fire and prepare lunch, which includes salmon and vegetable soup, accompanied by red fruit cake for dessert and choice of coffee or tea. In colder months, the meal will be served in a sheltered area.
We will then return to the bus and drive back to the starting point, concluding our trip at 4 pm.
