Liesjarvi National Park Hike

Get ready for a day of adventure in Finland's countryside. After meeting at 9 am on Mannerheiminaukio Street, we will head to Liesjärvi National Park, about an hour and a half away.

Upon arrival, we will begin our trek through the lush forests of this natural wilderness. Along the way, we may see wildlife such as foxes, hares, and moose.

At the halfway point, we will stop to light a fire and cook lunch consisting of salmon and vegetable soup, followed by red fruit cake for dessert and coffee or tea. In colder months, we will eat in a shelter.

Finally, we will walk back to the bus and return to the starting point, concluding our trip at 4 pm.
