Porvoo Walking Tour from Helsinki

We will meet at Esplanadi Park, where a bus will take us to Porvoo, connected to the Gulf of Finland via the river Porvoo. Our journey will take you into the heart of this ancient city, famous for its red colored riverside houses.

Once we arrive, we will begin our walking tour where you will learn about the history of this town which has inspired many Finnish artists.

We will explore the tranquil cobbled streets lined with wooden houses dating back to the Middle Ages. You will also see the town square and Porvoo’s Cathedral, where you will hear about its history, including its survival of five fires.

After touring the streets, you will have free time to try the local gastronomy, relax in a café, or continue exploring Porvoo independently.

Finally, we return to Helsinki on the bus.
