On this excursion to Sipoonkorpi National Park, we'll enjoy a hiking route and a relaxing experience in a Finnish smoke sauna.

Sipoonkorpi National Park Excursion + Finnish Sauna

At the appointed time, we'll meet at Mannerheiminaukio. From there, we'll travel by minibus for about 40 minutes to Sipoonkorpi National Park.

Once in Sipoonkorpi, we'll embark on a hiking route showcasing Finland's landscapes, abundant with local bird and mammal life typical of southern Finland's forests. The tour includes stops to learn about Sipoonkorpi's wildlife and to view lakes, cliffs, and rock formations.

Midway through the hike, we'll enjoy a typical meal by a lake. Refreshed, we will continue our trek until we reach a smoke sauna, an important Finnish tradition. This sauna operates at a temperature between 80 and 100 degrees Celsius, where water is poured over heated rocks to create steam, or löylö. We recommend taking a dip in the adjacent lake to experience the cold water's refreshing properties.

After the sauna, we will begin our walk back to the starting point and return to Helsinki by minibus, concluding the tour of Sipoonkorpi National Park after 6 hours.
