Chania, Kournas Lake & Rethymno Day Trip

At 7:30 am, we'll gather at the arranged meeting point in Heraklion. From there, we'll head west along the coast of Crete to Chania, our first stop.

In Chania, we will explore the Old Town, including the harbor, Venetian fortress, and Turkish mosques. You will also have free time for lunch and to continue sightseeing.

Next, we will travel to Kournas Lake, known for its extensive vegetation and large freshwater habitat. Here, you can learn about the local flora and fauna, including eels and two-colored turtles. There will be an opportunity to swim in the lagoon.

Our last stop is Rethymno for a guided tour. You will visit key sites such as the 16th-century Venetian fortress, Rimondi Fountain, and Loggia.

After the activity, you will be driven back to the meeting point in Heraklion, arriving around 7:30 pm.
