Day Trip to Preveli Beach

Pickup is at 8 am from your hotel in Heraklion. We will travel to the southern coast of Crete.

Arriving around 11 am at Preveli beach, you will have four hours of free time. The bus will drop you at a parking lot nearby, followed by a 15-minute walk down to the beach.

Preveli beach is situated between cliffs and near the Megalos Potamos river. The river forms an oasis-like lagoon with palm trees before flowing into the Mediterranean. This location was a main hippie destination on Crete from 1960 to 1980.

Activities include exploring the lagoon, beach, and lookout points. There is also a small restaurant available for those interested in Greek cuisine.

Pickup will be at 3 pm from the parking lot of Preveli to return to Heraklion, with arrival at your hotel between 5 and 5:30 pm.
