Explore the capital of Crete with a private tour of Heraklion. Visit significant monuments with a guide just for you and your companions!

Tour Details

We’ll meet in front of Hari's Creperiê to start our private tour of Heraklion. The first stop is the Church of St. Titus, originally a Byzantine church later converted into an Ottoman mosque and rebuilt in the mid-19th century, now a tribute to the island's patron saint.

As we stroll through Crete's capital, you’ll observe the influences of various civilizations, including Armenians, Greeks, and Arabs. We’ll pass by the Heraklion Loggia and the Orthodox Cathedral of St. Minas, one of Greece’s largest churches.

The tour proceeds through the historic center, featuring the facade of St. Mark's Basilica and a stop at Morosini Fountain Square, where you can taste local favorites: raki and bougatsa.

Before concluding the tour, we’ll visit Heraklion’s Central Market to explore traditional craft stalls and the lively atmosphere. The tour lasts 2.5 hours, concluding where we started.
