Tour Details

At the appointed time, we’ll meet in front of Hari's Creperiê to begin our private tour of Heraklion. Our first stop will be the Church of St. Titus, originally a Byzantine church that became an Ottoman mosque and was rebuilt in the mid-19th century, now honoring the island's patron saint.

As we walk through Crete's capital, you’ll see influences from Armenians, Greeks, and Arabs. We’ll pass by the Heraklion Loggia and admire the Orthodox Cathedral of St. Minas, one of Greece's largest churches.

The tour continues through the historic center, where we’ll view the facade of St. Mark's Basilica and stop at Morosini Fountain Square. Here, you can taste two local favorites: raki and bougatsa.

Before concluding, we’ll visit Heraklion’s Central Market to browse traditional craft stalls and experience its atmosphere. The tour lasts 2.5 hours, concluding back at the starting point.
